What are recycled shingles?

Recycled shingles usually consist of both angular and rounded gravel. We wash the shingles to get rid of dirt and fine dust before screening them to guarantee a consistent size. We sell this product in 10mm, 20mm, and 40mm grades. This product is likely to vary in colour and shape.

What are recycled shingles used for?

Recycled shingles can be used for pipe bedding, driveways, paths, flowerbeds, planting, filtration in soil, or for decorative features and borders.

What are the bulk densities of recycled shingle?

4-10mm = 1.39 tonne per m3 loose or 1.46 tonne compacted.

10-20mm = 1.42 tonne per m3 loose or 1.55 tonne per m3 compacted.

20/40mm = 1.36 tonne per m3 loose or 1.47 tonne per m3 compacted.
